About Teacher Listings on Our Website
If you'd like to be listed and you're not already a SAMEDA Member, then you'll need to join.

Free Listing
Your membership to SAMEDA entitles each Teacher to a listing on the website
in their respective geographic area. This listing is limited to:
- Your Name
- What Geographic Area you should be listed in from the following:
North County, Metro/Downtown, East County, South County and Mexico, or Other Areas
- ONE of the following: your e-mail address, OR your phone number
Normally, free listings are updated monthly in conjunction with our print
publication,
The Papyrus. If you have further questions or need changes
to your listing, please contact
members@sdsameda.com
with your request first. This ensures that you don't bypass a step in our process which
confirms your SAMEDA Membership.
One-Time Paid Listing
A paid Teacher page entitles you to:
- A Single webpage on our site in the Teachers section.
- Your name featured under the Geographic region where you teach on our
opening page.
- In the detail page for Teachers in your area, your name will be linked
to your webpage on our site.
On your Webpage you are entitled to:
- One Color Digital Image of yourself
- An External Link to your Website (and yes, we'd appreciate it if you'd
link back to us as well)!
- Your Phone Number and E-mail Address (linked)
- Class Listings. In order to help you help your students, we make a link
to an online map if you provide the address of the studio(s) where you teach.
We understand that not everyone's information will fit in a cookie-cutter form,
so we've decided to just give you this information above and have you take a look
at what some of the other teachers have done.
This Teacher webpage is NOT a substitute for your own website, but an adjunct to it.
Please do not go overboard in the information that you provide. We haven't set a strict limit on
content (and we'd really rather not have to), so please try to keep within the limits of what you see on the current
pages on our site. We will try to work with you.
The paid weblisting costs a one-time fee of $25, which helps us defer some of
our costs related to maintaining the website. So long as you remain a SAMEDA Member, and
our policies remain the same, we'll keep it current for you at no charge.
Please be aware that website changes are made no less than monthly.
When you have changes to your schedule, you should notify BOTH
papyrus@sdsameda.com AND
web@sdsameda.com to ensure that all of your
listings remain current.
How Do I Purchase My Teacher's Page?
- If you haven't already joined SAMEDA, join it now.
- Use the Miscellaneous Payment Form to pay
SAMEDA your $25 fee and note the description as "Teacher Webpage."
- Once you've completed your purchase, e-mail your Webpage information as noted above to
web@sdsameda.com. Make sure to attach your digital image.
Preferred digital formats are JPEGs or TIFFs no greater than 3MB in size.
